Mode of Action:

Norfloxacin functions by inhibiting DNA gyrase, an enzyme, necessary to separate bacterial DNA thereby inhibiting cell division

INDICATIONS:

It is indicated for oral administration to treat and control diarrhea in piglets less than four (4) weeks of age.
For the treatment of local and systemic infections caused by Gram (+ ) and Gram (-) bacteria and Mycoplasma.

Pump oral soluble antibiotic

Prevention:

1 mL per kg bodyweight, once on the first

day of birth

Treatment :

1mL per kg bodyweight every 12 hours for

3 to 4 consecutive days or as directed by

the veterinarian. If pigs do not improve within 24 hours, re-diagnosis is suggested

To reconstitute, add 2 ½ level full of measuring cups (equivalent to 80 mL) of distilled water or cooled boiled water in to the powder.
Shake well until all the contents are evenly suspended.
This makes a 100 mL of the reconstituted suspension.
