Salgard is a feed ingredient treatment used to selectively kill Salmonella, E. coli, Campylobacter, and other harmful gram-negative bacteria, to inhibit mold growth and to protect against contamination.

- Standard recommendation: 2 kg per ton of feed
- Routine microbial control: 1 kg per ton of feed
- Microbial control of sensitive feeds: 4 kg per ton of feed
- Heavy contamination: 8 kg per ton of feed
- Decontamination of susceptible materials: 12 kg per ton of feed
