It is a water-soluble antibiotic which fights diseases, promotes uniformity of growth, helps increase egg production, protects flock against laying slumps due to infections and combats stress.

Each kilogram contains:

  • Norfloxacin: 100 grams
  • Excipients: q.s.

Mode of Action:

  • Norfloxacin functions by inhibiting DNA gyrase, an enzyme, necessary to separate bacterial DNA thereby inhibiting cell division

INDICATIONS:

  • For the prevention and treatment of local and systemic infections caused by Gram (+) and Gram (-) bacteria and Mycoplasma
  • For the prevention and treatment of bacterial pneumonia and bacterial enteritis in swine
  • For the prevention and treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), Bluecomb and Hexamitiasis in poultry
  • Anti-stress
  • For the prevention of infections after vaccination
  • Promotes uniformity of growth
  • Help increase egg production, protects flock against laying slumps due to infections

Dosage and Administration


  POULTRY SWINE
PREVENTION 5gms (1tsp) to 20liters of drinking water for 3-5 days 5gms (1tsp) to 10liters of drinking water for 3-5 days
TREATMENT 5gms(1tsp) to 10liters of drinking water for 5-7 days

10gms (2tsp) to10liters of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Follow-up with 5gms (1tsp)to10liters of drinking water for another 5-7days depending on the severity of infection

Withdrawal period:  5 days prior to slaughter

Precautions:

  • Avoid inhaling dust when mixing and preparing
  • Always serve fresh: replace the medicated water every 24 hours
  • Use dry measuring spoon
  • Keep jar tightly closed
  • Store in a cool, dry place
  • Protect from direct sunlight
